Job Summary

MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT
Operations are part of Tetra Laval International (TLI) Operations, Data Science and Holdings department. The Operations team mission is to safeguard an effective and integrated control environment throughout TLI.

 

SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Direct contribution in achieving the Tetra Laval Group’s (TLG) business goals and achieving the TLI Balance scorecard, the IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of TLI IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing local servers, cloud solutions, and ensuring seamless integration between various applications through effective management of interfaces and secure file transfers. A core component of the role is to lead cybersecurity initiatives, proactively addressing vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures to protect TLI data and systems.

This position involves the holder to make recommendations and implement strategies that would have a long term impact (3-5 years) on TLI.

What you will do

Infrastructure Management:
- Manage the planning, deployment, and maintenance of local IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to safeguard critical data and systems.
- Ensure regular updates and patches are applied to all hardware and software components.

 

Lead Cloud Solutions Deployment:
- Develop and implement cloud strategies, including migration plans and hybrid solutions.
- Manage cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to optimize resource utilization and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

 

Systems Integration and Data Transfer Management:
- Design and oversee the implementation of system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between applications.
- Utilize APIs and other technologies to facilitate efficient communication between systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Implement secure file transfer protocols and solutions to protect sensitive data.

 

Cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management:
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, aligning with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, addressing identified risks promptly.
- Implement advanced security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Coordinate incident response efforts, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting.

 

Vendor and Resource Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring service levels are met or exceeded.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to align resources with organizational needs.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and operations, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.

 

Implement and Manage Collaboration Tools:
- Assess and select collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) that align with TLI needs.
- Oversee deployment and integration, ensuring seamless functionality with existing systems.
- Stay informed about emerging collaboration technologies, recommending enhancements.

 

Strategic Planning and IT Governance:
- Manage TLI IT/IS budget process
- Align IT initiatives with organizational goals, contributing to long-term strategic planning.
- Assess emerging technologies and trends, recommending adoption where beneficial.
- Establish policies, standards, and procedures to guide IT operations and ensure compliance.
- Monitor adherence to governance frameworks, addressing deviations promptly.

 

Process Improvement and Innovation:
- Evaluate current IT processes and systems, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Encourage the exploration of new technologies, supporting experimentation and pilot programs.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, integrating relevant advancements into the organization.

 

The IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services Manager will collaborate on a daily basis with: 
-    TLI business process responsibles (Directors) and applications' users (Analysts)
-    TLI application owners (Head of Departments)
-    Tetra Pak Global Information Management
-    Internal and external auditors
-    External suppliers

We believe you have

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in IT management or a related field is preferred. 
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect), infrastructure or cyber security are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience at expert level is a must. 
- Proven experience in managing hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and cloud) including designing, implementing, and supporting scalable and secure IT environments. 
- Advanced PowerBI skills. Knowledge of R, Python or KNIME are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- French and English spoken language is required. 
- Valid work permit for Switzerland.
