Job Summary
Tetra Laval Group is looking for a Director Executive Compensation to drive the development and implementation of executive Reward programmes across the Tetra Laval Group.
As the Director Executive Compensation, you will be focusing on aligning executive compensation frameworks, policies, and benchmarks with business goals and market competitiveness. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and accurate compensation-related life-cycle processes with a focus on continuous improvement and ensuring governance as provided for by the Tetra Laval Group Remuneration Committee.
Your mission will be to lead with strategic insight and data driven decision-making, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and cross-company collaboration within the Group, while securing that our executive remuneration practices remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.
This is a permanent position and may be based in Lausanne, Switzerland or any other of our locations across Europe.
What you will do
- Manage executive pay policies, processes and tools to ensure they remain competitive and compliant. Monitor and recommend changes based on market trends and regulatory development.
- Lead all compensation-related life-cycle activities and resulting contractual documentation for executives across all Tetra Laval Group companies, including hiring, promotions, transitions and exits.
- Manage the Tetra Laval Group executive incentive plan including the annual process of calculating awards, governance and execution coordination.
- Prepare material for the Tetra Laval Group Remuneration Committee.
- Key contact person for Group wide remuneration policies, documentation and governance framework. Support Reward professionals across the Tetra Laval Group, as needed, in interpreting and implementing such policies and managing exception requests.
- Partner with Finance for accurate budgeting, accruals and annual report and accounts.
- Act as subject matter expert for job levelling methodology, underpinning job structures across the Tetra Laval Group.
- Participate actively in various reward projects within the Tetra Laval Group companies and provide subject matter expertise to support decision making.
- Select and manage relationships with external vendors as required.
We believe you have
The successful candidate is an HR professional with approximately 10 years of experience working in executive compensation or global Reward in a corporate environment or for corporate clients. You have experience with both industrial companies as well as financial services or legal/tax firms. In addition to this, we also believe you have a proven track record of managing external compensation experts, data providers and advisors.
Furthermore, we believe you have:
- An analytical mindset and strong in problem-solving
- Strong collaboration skills, and you build effective relationships
- Capability to influence and manage complex stakeholders using informal authority
- Expert communication skills and can drive change
- Ability to design, succinctly draft, implement and improve policies, processes and associated technology
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and deliver results on time and in full, working with minimum team members
- Strong external hyperawareness with an effective peer networker to bring new insights
- Fluency in English.
