Job Summary
We are looking for an expert who will develop and drive the execution of the strategic account plan aligned with Tetra Pak and a strategic customer’s objectives.
In this position, you will be the key point of contact for a strategic customer with various locations, ensuring that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio is deployed in full, you will drive sales of our full portfolio by meeting competitiveness requirements and delivering a strong value proposition. You will also be an individual contributor who will lead a cross functional Strategic Account team to build a strong customer relationship and achieve sustainable growth by identifying and capturing short, medium and long-term business opportunities. You will be responsible to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner, and accepted by the customer.
The position is based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
You are expected to travel 50% of the time to the local strategic customer sites (San Jose, Costa Rica) and up to 25% abroad (Panama and occasional international travel)
What you will do
As a Key Account Manager you will:
- Agree on budgets and secure resources from Tetra Pak and assigned customer. Drive mutual, sustainable growth. Together with Strategic Account team and customer, drive the development and execution of Strategic Account plan;
- Drive improved understanding of the customer's overall business requirements;
- Drive Customer Satisfaction and Partnership improvements according to global process;
- Secure accurate Sales Forecasting for assigned Strategic Account;
- Ensure that Accounts Receivable expectations are met for Strategic Account;
- Drive execution of sales targets for packaging solutions and processing;
- Engage all team members and the customer in joint value creation and quantification;
- Develop competences of Strategic Account team members to secure that they match customer needs;
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Marketing or Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager preferably in the food and beverage industry (B2B);
- Master’s degree in business is a plus;
- To be successful in this challenging role you need to be a team leader with a strong customer focus and interpersonal skills;
- You will be able to deal with challenging stakeholders and work cross-functionally both internally and externally;
- You will have demonstrable skills in Value Selling, Account Management and be able to show strategic agility and an ability to deal with ambiguity;
- You have a strong proven record of successful negotiations where competition is involved;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Proficiency in English, verbal and written is a must.
