Job Summary

 

Joining the dynamic Integrated Logistics organisation at Tetra Pak, this position will be part of the Supply chain control tower supporting logistics operations within Asia Pacific region. This position will report to Supply Chain Control Tower. 

Overall,  Logistics Executive shall be responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of inbound and outbound shipments using TMS and ERP systems in the most efficient way. 

What you will do

 

As a Outbound Logistic Executive, you will: 

 

Execute daily logistics operations: 

 

  • Logistic planning of all the shipments in line with requirements and in coordination with all internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Managing multiple lines of communication between factory, customers, logistics service providers and other stakeholders. 
  • Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices and packing lists and other statutory documents. 
  • On time completion and compliance of outbound / inbound shipment process flow in TMS and related systems. 
  • Continual review of shipment schedules and reporting exceptions if any to relevant stake holders 
  • Ensure compliance to respective trade and destination requirement on legal, transportation and customs authority. 

 

Operational logistics optimization: 

 

  • Drive the KPI management and improvement activities to meet KPI target for logistics service provider 
  • Responsible for end to end logistics operations including customs clearance, logistics documentation and transportation. 
  • Participate and contribute in “World Class Manufacturing” (TPM) activities for eradicating   Logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting Factory and customers involving other stakeholders as needed. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities to achieve lowest possible total logistics cost and improved service level 
  • Work with Planning, Warehouse and Customer Service functions to ensure timely execution of all the orders and meeting customer delivery dates. 
  • Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, incl. claim and complaints management / root cause analysis / loss removal 
  • Participate and contribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings both internally as well as with related stake holders 
  • Handle end to end warehouse operations of finished goods from goods receipt, storage of goods to final delivery to customers including transportation. 

We believe you have

 

  • Attributes to be successful in the role: Have a customer-oriented approach, excellent organizational skills, result driven, ambitious to develop oneself within Tetra Pak, precision and accuracy in the daily work, flexibility, and agility in managing ambiguity or facing challenges.
  • 2  to 4 years of working experience in logistic
  • Good understanding of and knowledge of end-to-end export/import (Ocean and Air) shipping process 
  • Good knowledge of local country custom and transport rules and regulations 
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in various trade lanes within Asia Pacific region would be added advantage. 
  • Working experience on SAP modules including WMS and OTM is preferred 
  • Experience in any or all the following domains:     
  • Freight Forwarding 
  • Transportation 
  • Local Custom compliance  
  • Order management        
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry especially in dealing with global supply chains 
  • High level understanding of various tools like MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Power BI 
  • Strong numerical reasoning along with an ability to interpret and analyse incomplete information and make predictions based on trend and first principles. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
