Job Summary

We are now hiring a Warehouse Specialist in Izmir! 

In this role you will complete logistic activities regarding shipping and/or warehouse to drive cost reduction, improve service levels, safety and effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities. You will also act as a technical reference for other areas or new employees.

This is a permanent position based in Izmir, Turkey. 
 

What you will do

  • Support to ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company:  Fill proper documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation)
  • Resolve or support issues that might arise with port / customs / transportation company.
  • Support and preparation reporting of KPIs (incl., cost and productivity) for all metrics concerning the factory, inclusive all the way to final destination on the DOs.
  • Run process in order to deliveries to customer (e.g., from port to customer site) and link factories to customers to shipping company / road transportation.
  • Resolve issues that might arise with port / customs / transportation company.
  • Bring suggestion and drive projects to continuous improvement for the areas.

We believe you have

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience from warehousing, logistics or similar working area. 
  • It is required to have a completed bachelor's degree and / or master's degree (or equivalent), preferably from logistics or engineering department. 
  • You need to have a good working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, SAP and Microsoft Office programs. 
  • It’s required to have good Turkish and English language skills for this position. 
  • As a person you should be organized, self-motivated and eager to learn. 
  • It’s important to function well within a team and to have a can-do attitude.
