Job Summary

We have an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and experienced candidate to join a world class business in the role of Planning and Logistics Coordinator.

The Planning and Logistics Coordinator is overall responsible for production and materials planning, logistics, warehousing and purchasing. You will also manage a small team of planning and warehouse operators/specialist.
 
This role will be based at our Imatra Factory, Tetra Pak Production Oy, and you will report to the Factory Director and be part of the factory management team.
 

As our new Planning and Logistics Coordinator, you will:

 

  • Manage and develop the logistics operation in the factory assuring on time in full deliveries to customers.
  • Manage and develop a cost-effective warehouse operation. 
  • Manage the production- and materials planning and replenishment in the factory.
  • Manage purchasing for factory in close collaboration with regional supplier management function.
  • Coordinate the site development together with the global facility management function.
  • Drive continuous improvement of above areas using WCM methodology.
  • Drive competence and capability development of direct reports.
  • Manage cost for department and continuously drive for cost savings.
  • Being a member of factory management team, drive and cooperate with other departments and pillars to achieve factory targets.
     

We believe you have:

 

  • Higher technical degree.
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, planning or purchasing.
  • Experience in using SAP, production planning IT tools and an overall good computer literacy.
  • Used to have many parallel activities of different nature ongoing and the ability to prioritize.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to inspire others.
  • A self-drive and a strive to constantly improve.
  • A mindset to standardize and to develop sustainable processes and solutions.
  • Good Finnish and English skills, both verbal and written.

 

 

Bonus if you have: 

  • Experience in leading people.
  • Knowledge in WCM, Lean, TPM or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
