Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Leader for the position of
Factory Director
for our factory in Imatra (Finland) producing packaging material,
reporting to the Vice President Packaging Material Supply EMEA.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership, management and control of a
Packaging Material factory of c.a. 40 employees.
What you will do
• Manage and lead the Imatra Packaging Material factory and warehouse operations, with full accountability for productivity, quality and cost competitiveness.
• Manage the industrial base with full accountability for factory performance using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology to drive excellence in productivity, quality and cost competitiveness.
• Acting as local market interface from a supply chain, quality and WCM perspective.
• Ensure site governance and compliance to all Tetra Pak, local and legal regulations.
• Drive OHS compliance and securing safe environment and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the implementation of Packaging Material Supply strategy in the factory operations
• Ensure Corporate governance and maintain quality systems.
• Ensure compliance with SHE regulations in alignment with company policies and in accordance with local/legal guidelines. Ensure safe environment, routines and culture change.
• Deploy and follow up yearly performance targets to the management team. Responsible to monitor, and supporting corrective actions to achieve results
• Establish and deploy yearly factory investment plans with proper methodology and own site business continuity plans.
• Being part of the local market management team.
• Drive continuous improvement of Factory performance by implementing of World Class Manufacturing methodology
• Ensure competence and leadership development of the factory team.
• Drive employee engagement of full operations.
• Workforce planning including optimization and performance management. Ensure the involvement/capability development of local management and employees.
• Be the interface between Packaging Solutions and markets served, supporting Market Operations to bring world class quality, customer satisfaction and sales growth. Lead any quality issue resolution.
We believe you have
• At least 5-7 years experience from people management positions in a factory environment
• Engineering degree (at least Bachelor’s level)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Communicative in Finnish or Scandinavian is a benefit.
• Considerable implementation experience from TPM or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Advanced WCM implementation experience with a special focus on coaching pillar leaders/team members is a benefit
• Project Management and/or Early Management experience from Industrial Base projects and cross-functional (Production/Maintenance/Quality/Logistics) experience in factories are preferred
• Proven track record of managing mass production of high-quality products including the management of suppliers and strong customer orientation.
• High level of leadership and networking skills allowing you to lead various teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong experience in talent management and talent development for both direct and indirect reports, as well as experience in cross-functional team management through empowerment and motivation
• Collaboration and teamwork within the factory and with other internal stakeholders, such as central support organizations and equipment suppliers
• Excellent communication and networking skills are a must in this role
