Job Summary

AM Business control team is looking for a factory controller to be based in a Caps manufacturing site in Hohhot China. Caps are a key part of our Additional Material portfolio. They add important functionality to our package. Hohhot is our one of the biggest caps factory in Tetra Pak group. As part of AM business control team and Hohhot factory management team, you will be responsible to drive performance, ensure compliance to company policies & procedures, plan, monitor & deliver on the financial targets of the factory/AM business. You will be expected to work on continuous improvement projects/teams to drive productivity. 

What you will do

  • Factory Performance & WCM
  • Responsible for monitoring and delivering on factory performance (KPI) and support AM supply for implementation of new  indicators
  • Report and analyse supply chain KPIs  (incl. expenses &  depreciation), for actual and budget
  • Report and analyse factory waste (incl. waste sales trend)
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting for factory operational KPIs
  • Support the WCM culture in the factory, Leader of factory cost pillar, provide insights about losses and their value
  • Team member of other pillars (incl. Logistics projects)
  • Work closely with Hohhot PM factory and back up Hohhot PM factory controller in case of bigger projects/higher workloads, leaves or vacancy 
  • Systems & Tools
  • Should become an expert on the company tools for reporting and analysing, drive self-service mindset in the factory
  • Should be very comfortable with learning/applying existing (SAP, Excel, BO, power BI etc) & learning new tools (S4Hana, PBI, project management etc) & implementing in his organisation. 
  • Controlling activities
  • Lead and manage the business control activities (monthly closing, expense control, timely provisions etc.)
  • Ensure monthly stock check activities
  • Analyse and drive investment spending plan for actual, forecast, budget periods. 
  • Create investment business cases and follow up actual costs/results vs business case.
  • Ensure compliance to corporate governance policies and procedures and drive internal control monitoring
  • Ensure compliance to local legal and tax requirements, manage the local legal entity related tasks
  • Able to participate in AM business control wide projects to drive continuous improvements 
  • Develop a strong relationship within extended Finance & AM Supply organisation; Accounting & Tax hubs/teams, MC finance team, SuM & FREM teams, AM central team etc
  • Product Costing
  • Support in product costing calculation every month, Provide accurate inputs for product costing to CPCU
  • Understand and analyse product costing of own factory and benchmark for improvements.

 

We believe you have

  • Minimum of 3 years of Business Control experience, Process knowledge; Product knowledge; Expert in analysis tool; Fluency in English spoken and written
  • Bachelor′s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related.
  • Preferably a master’s degree (MA, MBA or equivalent)
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant Business Controlling experience  
  • Factory / WCM knowledge and experience are considered a strong plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI and SAP R/3
  • Advanced English proficiency
