Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Services Sales Manager  who will manage the work of Services Sales in the Mid Europe region by applying value selling to grow the service business in a profitable way based on deep knowledge of customer operations and needs.  


The positions are preferably based in Germany (in Glinde and in Hochheim).

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent travel within the Mid-Europe region and have the ability to work independently while staying connected to their base-office.  

What you will do

 

 

As Services Sales Manager you will: 

  • Manage the customer relationship from a services perspective through a structured communication approach 
  • Understand the customer needs through proactive continuous customer diagnosis 
  • Create, implement, and follow up quality plans per account in line with customer and Account teams 
  • Identify sales opportunities, create solution and fact-based value proposals, negotiate and close deals and drive growth of profitable service contracts 
  • Manage internal interfaces and customers to assure efficient delivery of service and quality account plans 
  • Support resolution of technical issues by being responsible for communication with customer and issue driver 
  • Be an integrated member of the Account team, driving the service business as a part of a system supplier approach 

We believe you have

 

  • University degree in the field of Engineering, Business administration or equivalent.  
  • Several years of sales, product or account management experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Excellent command of German & English is required.  
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors, such as: 
    • Dynamic e.g. hyper-aware of the external market 
    • Productive e.g. able to simplify, prioritize and innovate 
    • Capable e.g. a role model for safety, quality, and continuous improvement 
  • You have a high customer-focused mindset and possess the ability to listen and respond to customer needs combined with excellent communication skills and an ability to interact across boundaries.
