Job Summary

 

The PSE Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all on-site activities in accordance with approved project scope, schedule, budget, and site management requirements for both Processing and Packaging capital equipment projects. The role oversees the Installation to Performance (ItP) process, ensuring equipment is installed, commissioned, and handed over in compliance with Tetra Pak standards, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, and food safety requirements. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, safety ownership, and effective stakeholder coordination across customers, vendors, and internal teams.

What you will do

 

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to prepare customer sites for equipment delivery, loading, and positioning
• Verify utilities, building readiness, access, lifting plans, and safety prerequisites before installation
• Plan and analyze project schedules to manage internal resources and subcontractors efficiently
• Lead assembly and installation of Packaging equipment including Fillers, Helix, Cappers, and Palletizers
• Lead installation of Processing systems including Mixers, Homogenizers, Separators, UHT Sterilizers, and Aseptic Tanks
• Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer guidelines, Tetra Pak standards, and WCM principles
• Supervise internal teams and subcontracted companies on-site, managing multidisciplinary teams of 30+ personnel
• Ensure site execution remains within approved project scope, timeline, and budget
• Monitor and communicate resource utilization and cost status to the Project Manager
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, automation, PLC, and pneumatic issues
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Use AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office for site coordination
• Consolidate installation progress, S-curves, punch lists, and issue tracking
• Prepare and issue weekly site progress reports and project Minutes of Meeting
• Supervise, inspect, and approve subcontractor fabrication and installation works
• Ensure compliance with international engineering and quality standards
• Provide technical recommendations and manage site-level decision-making and handover
• Apply local regulations and Tetra Pak OHS standards on-site
• Drive safety leadership through layered safety audits and safety tag tracking
• Maintain a zero-accident site environment
• Act as primary on-site interface between Project Manager, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Prepare installation requisitions, technical scopes, and commercial bid tabulations
• Identify and support variation orders and outstanding issues
• Perform material take-offs and prepare BOQs for piping, fittings, consumables, and site materials

We believe you have

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Science)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, field service, or site supervision
• Experience within food and beverage processing and packaging environments
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SAP, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Familiarity with aseptic plant operations and food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP)
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills
• Strong planning, organizing, and coordination abilities
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally
• Willingness to work 6 days per week during active site phases
• Strong spoken and written English proficiency
• Welding and installation-related certifications (e.g. welding seam inspection, X-ray, boroscope) considered an advantage
