Tetra Pak’s is looking for an Account Manager to add to our sales team.

This role will be report in to High Wycombe, United Kingdom.

 

 

 

Main Purpose of the Job:

To develop and drive the execution of strategic and operational account plans aligned to Tetra Pak and our customers objectives.  Managing a small portfolio of customers to develop partnerships and achieve sustainable growth.

Description:

 

  • Account Management – Drive specific operational or customer management activities for a defined group of customers.  Together with the customer and the Tetra Pak team, drive the development and execution of Account plans. Agree on shared objectives and targets with the customer. Balance strategic and operational objectives - Drive mutual sustainable growth
  • Relationship Management - Drive improved understanding of the customer and overall business (marketplace, channel, retailer, consumer, competitive environment, strategy, productivity, profitability and the across value chain) . Identify customer needs and drive opportunities in line with Tetra Pak global business strategy, category and portfolio.  Build up a constructive business relationship with the customer.  Drive Customer Experience and Partnership improvements according to global process. Ensure that CS actions are included in account plans.
  • Sales Forecasting - Secure accurate Sales Forecasting for assigned Accounts.
  • Value Selling - Drive execution of sales targets for packaging, solutions and processing. Opportunity Pipeline Management Execution and preparation of accurate value cases.  Engaging all team members and the customer in joint value creation and quantification
  • Coordinate cross functional activities - Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner, and the resolution is accepted by the customer.
  • Credit Management & Collection - Ensure that Account receivable expectations are met for Account
  • Compliance – Following all business processes and proceedures.  Following reporting requirements
  • Portfolio Deployment - Ensure that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio, from across the business, is deployed and delivers a strong value proposition
  • Work closely with all concerned departments through the organization

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree with major in commerce, marketing, engineering or business administration
  • At least 3 years working experience in sales and marketing. FMCG industry background and/or account management experience in B2B industry is a plus, experience in dairy or beverage industry is also a plus.   
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong in client management, confident in issue resolution
  • Fluent spoken and written English, excellent presentation skills
  • Good analytical skills and strong business sense
  • Mature, outgoing, and good leadership potential
  • Self-driven and able to work independently to drive things through
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to form a strong network
  • Experienced in working with interdepartmental project teams without having the line authority
  • Experienced in managing and developing Customers with strong customer focus and the ability to build partnerships
  • Strong and convincing negotiator
  • Ability to formulate Value Selling analysis
  • Genuine interests in our business paired with enthusiasm and drive to find solutions, to get things done and to grow
  • Sound financial and operational experience to manage contracts with strategic business acumen mindset
  • At ease with technical and commercial matters alike
  • Willing to travel and attend to customers enquiries
