Job Summary

Business Sector Food develops, engineers and commissions cheese, ice cream and powder production equipment for the food industry. With over 800 employees in 8 countries we develop, deliver and facilitate a world leading portfolio of process solutions in close cooperation with the Tetra Pak Market Companies Globally.

For strengthening our Powder Project Management Office (PMO) we are looking for a professional and experienced colleague to fulfil the role of:

Planning & Data Expert 

As Planning & Data Expert you support organization’s programs, projects, initiatives through systematic planning, data analysis, reporting, tools support, and information follow-up.
You will monitor project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports and regular financial reports liaising with key stakeholders. You plan project resources from one or several project organizations distributed globally. 
Powder Project portfolio is executed globally with involvement of multiple external and internal organizations.

We are part of an international business environment therefore the Planning & Data Expert should be prepared to travel to our project offices in other countries up to 10% of working time.

This role can be based in Heerenveen, NL, Le May-sur-Evre, FR or Monte Mor, BR.

What you will do

  • Analyze, consolidate and regularly report to the organization
  • Prepare and facilitate monthly and quarterly review meetings with the governance bodies
  • Develop portfolio / pipeline reports before and after review meetings regarding project portfolio performance and constraints. 
  • Support short term and long term plan definition
  • Work with Program and Project managers / Line Managers and other stakeholders to secure accurate, timely and integrated collection of required inputs like available/estimated man-hours, financial information, project lists, project scope, project value, project risk, long term resource plans.
  • Secure the implementation of standard approaches and best practices in program and project management, according to PMO guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the PM workflow and tools by capturing issues and need for improvements; capturing best practices within as well outside own organization 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of central solution by   collaborating with Process owners organizations, define process improvements;  Actively driving network of Project managers teams ,sharing best practices within as well outside own organization
  • Consolidate and report project portfolio data and KPI dashboard

To be successful in this position you have excellent analytical skills and a high level of business understanding. You are used to form, drive and implement concrete action plans from your analysis. As a person you are result oriented, structured and driven. You like to work in teams and have excellent networking skills.

  • 3-5 years of practical experience in projects and data analysis
  • BSc or equivalent degree. Data\Finance\Technical
  • You use your software skills to automate and build various applications and dashboards to continuously improve business decisions. Good understanding of financial data, combined with data analytical skills
  • Focus on ‘driving for results’
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in the dairy \ food industry is an advantage. 
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Proficient using of MS Office, Power BI and MS Project
  • Experience with SAP ECC
