Job Summary

Tetra Pak, the global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Installation Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the installation, commissioning, and servicing of Tetra Pak Cheese equipment (it is also possible to support different segments within the Tetra Pak Food Solution) and systems at Customer sites all around the world, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Installation Supervisor will manage installation teams, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the installation process. This position requires strong installation skills, management skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality

The preferred location is Heerenveen, The Netherlands.

What you will do

  • Preparation schedule of installation and estimation of labour hours
  • Plan and analyse the project schedule (on site)
  • Determine the installation on site
  • Supports in terms of launching/leadership
  • Manage internal companies and subcontractors in accordance with local labour laws
  • Provide and solve problems on existing machines and lines
  • Ensure installations meet Tetra Pak’s quality standards and comply with regulations.
  • Assist machine operators and customer maintenance personnel in the field of Tetra Pak equipment
  • Comply with internal procedures and policies for all on-site activities, including quality and OSH

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as an engineer / mechanic / electrician or in a position with similar technical background
  • General technical knowledge in the required areas of competence
  • Good communication skills with the ability to clearly express, communicate and collaborate with the customer, sub-suppliers and project team
  • Computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, MS Outlook, etc.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment around yourself and others
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites (up to 80%)
