Our equipment is a crucial part of the food processing and packaging industry. That’s why keeping it maintained to its optimum performance is a huge priority, not only for us but for our customers and the communities they serve. As a Tetra Pak Processing Equipment - Maintenance Engineer, you’re the first line of defence. With training and support, you’ll become the expert in the field to maintain our cutting-edge equipment. As someone who prides themselves on getting to the root of the problem, you’ll be part of the mission to keep food production going for hundreds of millions of people in more than 160 countries.

You will be based in GrootBijgaarden, Belgium or Utrech, Netherlands.
What you will do
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Install, commission, and maintain our Processing equipment at our customers’ sites also preparing customer sites for installation events.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures.
- Work with complex equipment, and use the latest automation technology at customer sites.
- Ensure Tetra Pak quality to customers to secure customer satisfaction.
- Escalation of all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues.
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times and execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements.
We believe you have
- Technical education in mechanical engineering with basic electrical skills
- Automation and process-related studies are nice to have.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in maintenance and/or service work. Experience on rotating equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance) in an industrial environment
- Automation skills, i.e. PLC is an advantage
- Proficiency level in English and local language is a plus
- You will travel 80 % of the time by car, within the country as well as abroad – therefore you will need a Class B driving license
