Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to be part of a highly trained and professional team that contributes strongly to the daily analysis of indicators and parameters to ensure quality in the process through root cause analysis of deviations, eradication of losses for defects within optimal parameters and conditions. 
The position is based in Gotemba factory,Japan; reporting to The QA Manager.

What you will do

 

As our QA Engineer you will;

 

  • Quality Testing:
    • Master all quality test methods and perform them proficiently.
  • Customer Claim Handling:
    • Manage KPI/KAI indicators related to customer issues (IRP cocktail, number of approved issues, critical issue prevention, PM claim, and handling lead time).
    • Maintain system documents related to customer issue handling.
  • WCM Participation:
    • Engage in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities, focusing on total waste reduction.
    • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of PM master data.
    • Maintain system documents related to total waste.
  • Base Material Quality Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvement in base material quality.
    • Maintain system documents related to base materials.
    • Manage working material (AM) quality and related projects.
  • Quality System Management:
    • Participate in the development and maintenance of ISO9000/ISO14000/BRC/Iop systems.
    • Implement Factory Process Control, including SPC and Computer Data Acquisition Systems.
    • Analyze data promptly and provide improvement suggestions.

We believe you have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Post Graduate Engineering Degree in advanced science or Statistical Methods is desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related fields such as Production, Maintenance, or World Class Manufacturing (WCM).
  • Essential experience with Management Systems like ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC/ISO22000, or OHSAS18001.
  • Proficiency in Office Programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control), TQM (Total Quality Management), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or WCM.
