Job Summary
Responsible for factory operational logistics (warehousing and material handling) and operational planning (production planning and call-offs AM&BM)
What you will do
As our Planning & Logistics Manager will do:
- Lead factory logistics and planning team to ensure that customer orders are met as originally requested and deliver excellence to our customers.
- Work together with production manager to optimize the planning board to improve EE, minimize waste and streamline WIP levels.
- Develop factory logistics and planning capabilities managing back-up and succession plan.
- Attend daily internal production meeting to align with factory management.
- Drive the expansion of WCM to attack logistic and planning losses. Member/Leader of appropriate WCM pillar
- Operational logistics:
i) Implement and lead a world class warehouse management with internal logistics;
ii) Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer;
iii) Ensure inventory governance; and
iv) Administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of factory. - Operational planning:
i) Provide input to cluster on capacity and allocation process;
ii) Create monthly capacity plan with optimal block plan sequence in P2 Planning and C-plan according monthly factory capacity plan aligned with cluster capacity plan;
iii) Schedule orders according factory capacity, factory project schedule, constraints, block sequence priority, order ETD request, production lead time etc;
iv) Maintain planning master data: P2, P2 Planning, APO, SAP;
v) Operationalize reallocations to and from factory.
We believe you have
- At least four years operational experience in the areas of expertise.
- People coordination experience (eg. from being in a senior specialist role).
- Good knowledge of factory production process and product portfolio.
- Good knowledge of WCM methods and their application.
- Good general supply chain knowledge, including financial implications of decisions.
- Good production planning process and tools knowledge.
- Good material planning process and tools knowledge.
- Good logistics process and tools knowledge
