Job Summary
Are you highly interested in the sales of technical advanced food solutions and a goal-oriented person with a passion for doing business? Tetra Pak Processing is looking for a driven Sales Manager to strengthen our team.
As a Sales Manager you will drive and manage the sales & development needs for Processing business in Mid Europe. Therefore, you will belong to Mid Europe sales organization. You will have dedicated customers and lead the related opportunities on processing solutions covering the full portfolio. Same time you will have a significant task to deploy actively sales of key components to the market as a strong pillar of our growth plans. You will receive training on the entire product portfolio.
Location: Germany, preferred with a near to an office location (e.x. Hochheim)
In this permanent position you will be based in Germany with a high extend of travel time to visit customers in Germany and MidEurope (D-A-CH).
What you will do
- Deliver Net Sales targets for the assigned customers and business areas as dairy, prepared food and ice cream
- Establish approved Business plan for Growth of Key Component business
- Developing sales strategies for your sales area
- Build & cultivate a strong understanding, relationship & alignment across all levels of Customer's organization
- Understanding the customers’ needs and ensuring that Tetra Pak offers meets to those needs
- Build & successfully execute account plans securing joint ambitions and actions, which are clearly articulated, objective & time bound, and linked to market plans & Tetra Pak's strategic pillars
- Lead generation, qualification and conversion to opportunities
- Presenting technologies & proposals to customers
- Identifying opportunities for new products and development of the existing portfolio
- Understand & comply with Tetra Pak's commercial practices framework (including Pricing, Contract terms & Authorisation matrix),
- Negotiating orders to achieve the expected selling price and margin, securing compliance with the credit terms and policies
We believe you have
- Master’s or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Food Technology
- More than 5 years of commercial/sales experience
- At least many years of experience in the food industry is a must
- Fluent German and English language knowledge (written and spoken)
- Strong personal drive for results
- High level of collaboration, engagement and leadership skills on capability, dynamism and productivity
- Ability to build networks and relationships with other people
- Ability to demonstrate good knowledge and apply Key Account Management methodology
- Ability to negotiate with customer using proven negotiation techniques and leveraging on Tetra Pak’s Commercial conditions, Pricing, Contract terms & Authorization matrix
- Excellent communication skills
