The position will be based in Winsted, Minnesota.

In our Winsted, MN location, we design, manufacture, and support equipment used by dairy and food manufacturers to process cheese, whey, milk powders, and related products.

We have 2 possible Start Dates for the Future Talent Program: February 8, 2027 or July 19, 2027.

Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.

What you will do

In this role, you are part of our Process, Tools and Capability team, supporting our Ice Cream, Cheese and Powder business. These business teams are in turn responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of Tetra Pak processing solutions for our food manufacturing customers. 

As a Future Talent - Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will:

• Adapt corporate strategy to support successful implementation of a "World Class Manufacturing" (WCM) culture.
• Participate in setting up the organization’s strategy and follow up on it during the year.
• Participate in the identification, analysis and quantification of production center losses. Perform data analysis to identify top losses.
• Actively participate in the pillars of planned and autonomous maintenance, focused improvement, and safety.
• Participate in the audits, supervision and follow-up of plans for the correct implementation of the WCM culture.
• Learn and ensure the correct use of WCM tools (5W+1H, 5S, LostBank, Ishikawa, Pareto, Control sheets, Flow mapping, Kaizen).
• Monitor and make improvement plans for the indicators of each of the areas (costs, production, planning, quality, logistics).
• Improve the reliability and efficiency of production lines, improve diagnostic capabilities, develop improvements, and participate in troubleshooting complex equipment failures.

We believe you have

• A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field (Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation and control, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.), and you are interested in taking your career to the next level.
• Finished or will finish your studies between May 2025 and June 2027
• Availability to travel about 10% of the time
• Very good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Ideally Power BI skills
• Ability to quickly learn and apply technical concepts
• High team orientation and collaboration skills
• Pro-active work style
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

• Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $60,600 USD – $77,800 USD. 
• Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
