Our team is rooted in collaboration and expertise, dedicated to achieving dependable results in process engineering, especially in cheese, evaporator, and dryer projects. (Project Centre CED Europe) We maintain high standards, quality, and efficiency in every project. Each team member brings unique skills, enabling us to tackle challenges and consistently drive innovation and growth.
We are looking for a Project Engineer who will play an important supporting role in our customer order projects. In this position, you will contribute to the Process design and Mechanical engineering of processing solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle from order placement through installation, commissioning, and performance validation. You will work with senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience while gradually taking on more responsibility as you develop in the role
The position is permanent and is based in Irland and includes some travelling approx. 30%.
What you will do
Joining a dynamic team of skilled process-, automation-, and mechanical engineers, you will contribute to delivering innovative processing solutions to our diverse range of customers worldwide. Collaborating closely with various departments such as R&D, production, sales, and project centers, this position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global network.
Main responsibilities:
- Support and deliver process and mechanical engineering design throughout the entire order process.
- Support the specification, mechanical dimensioning, and selection of process equipment, piping, and technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain 3D models, mechanical layouts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Provide technical support to the sales organization during the preproject phase, including feasibility input and preliminary design.
- Contribute to discussions with project centers to ensure alignment with customer needs and engineering requirements.
- Assist in technical issue handling and documentation, ensuring all mechanical and process-related records are correct and up to date.
- Participate in site installation and commissioning activities, progressively taking greater responsibility in functional project areas such as testing, verification, and startup.
We believe you have
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent practical experience in the food processing industry is also valuable.
- Basic technical understanding, with an interest or initial experience in food process systems considered an advantage.
- Experience in order management, customer support, or project coordination is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
