Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager for PSE Projects to be based in Dubai. This position will manage a team located in different regions of the GMEA Cluster and directly report to the Cluster Supplier Managment Director.
• Management of procurement activities for PSE projects from pre-project phase to project completion in compliance with Tetra Pak group policies and procedures and in line with supplier management strategies
• Work closely with cluster category managers and participate in the development of category strategies and high performing supplier base for PSE
• Define project sourcing strategy, supplier base and procurement plans
• Manage a team of senior purchasers
• Work closely with project management and engineering teams
• Manage contract negotiations and finalization
• Drive cost savings, quality, delivery and service performance of external supplier base
• Manage Suppliers contracts

Qualification

• Degree in engineering, supply chain management, project management, or equivalent. Strong technical background is preferred
• 15 year work experience preferably in food industry with at least 5 years in similar position
• Good understanding of procurement processes and e-Procurement solution like and SAP/Ariba
• Strong knowledge in project procurement management, supply strategy, negotiations, and stakeholder management
• Good networking skills with ability to build and utilize networks internal and external
• Fluent in English: written and spoken, French is an asset
 
The position will be based in UAE and candidates who are already based in UAE will be preferred.

Main Purpose of the Job

Management of procurement activities for PSE projects from pre-project phase to project completion in compliance with Tetra Pak group policies and procedures and in line with supplier management strategies

 

Key Outputs and Measurements

Ensure competitive cost levels, business conduct, delivery in time with quality. Ensure organisation efficiently and effectively perform sourcing, contracting, supplier base management and continuous improvements. Overall ownership of all non centrally / globally owned suppliers within purchasing segment. Tactical and operational process execution and continuous improvements.

Key Relationships

Leaders for functional areas and organisations dependent on Supplier Management strategy and performance. Strategic and preferred suppliers.

Critical Experience

Leadership experience, preferably global or international experience, change management, business management, 5+ years in sourcing management, contracting and supplier base management.

Minimum Education

University Bachelor, MBA/MA/MSc/CPS/ML or equivalent
