Job Summary

As a Method Maintenance Engineer (Slitting), you will report to the Maintenance Manager.
As such, you will pilot the preventive maintenance and improvement of the Slitting Process. You have to manage technical projects and you will guarantee the reliability of the equipment for which you are responsible.
As a maintenance referent and technical expert within this Production Process, you will be the relay to the technical teams.

What you will do

Mission and Responsibilities

Prepare, plan and monitor
• Contribute to the development, planning and monitoring of the Preventive Maintenance Plan
• Apply and enforce the rules inherent in the Quality, Hygiene, Environment and Safety standards in force on the site, both for technical interventions and for services provided by External Services
• Monitor and supervise Subcontractors during planned shutdowns (safety, quality of interventions)
• Set up and monitor the proposed improvements, Benchmark
Manage Equipment
• Guarantee the availability of Equipment in its scope/field
• Ensure the reliability of Equipment in its scope/field and make operation improvements 
• Define the needs for spare parts and ensure their good management with the warehouse team
• Propose and manage the implementation of investments.
• Be a technical reference for equipment in this sector


To help
• Intervene in support of the Maintenance teams on complex breakdowns or during diagnostics, by analyzing the breakdown root causes, the costs and by proposing technical solutions to the problems faced.
• Make the installations more reliable by being a force of initiative  to increase their performance
• Train and / or inform users (Production / Maintenance) about new installations
• Support maintenance teams as experts in their field/scope on level 2 curative actions


We believe you have

Required Skills :

• Experienced engineer or technician, you have 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
• Technical knowledge, basics in Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical, Electronics or even Automatic
• Ability to adapt to new materials and new technologies
• Fluent French is a must, English upper intermediate minimum
• Mastery of CAD software
• Computer skills required (office automation)
• Understanding of industrial processes
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Being organized, analytical and synthetical approach, adapts and anticipates constraints by demonstrating good interpersonal skills
• Project management and management (budget, planning, deliverable, qualification)
• Lean management methodology (5w1h, 4M, 5P, TPM)
