VP of Sales - Chilled Packaging

 

We are now seeking a VP of Sales to be in charge of our Chilled Packaging business in the US/CAN market. In this role, you will develop and drive the execution of the strategic and operational Carton Gable Top (CGT) business in the US and Canada, in alignment with Tetra Pak’s overall business objectives. You will lead the Sales Management team for the CGT business for the US & Canada. You will work to establish the appropriate commercial terms and conditions, drive short- and long-term strategic direction, provide effective management of opportunities, improve profitability all while ensuring alignment with supply chain and providing an accurate sales forecast for the CGT business. 


This position reports to the Managing Director USA & Canada.


The position is ideally based in our headquarters in Denton, Texas, but we are also considering someone based in any of our other offices in the US.

 

You will be travelling 30-50 % of your time.

What you will do

 

As VP of Sales - Chilled Packaging, you will: 

 

  • Be responsible for strategy development and deployment for the chilled packaging business category in the US and Canada.
  • Lead a team of key account managers and sales representatives to drive the profitable growth of the CGT business.
  • Be responsible for closing and signing of major contracts to drive growth in Carton Gable Top.
  • Be in charge of Pricing and Commercial Conditions.
  • Ensure strategic alignment with supply chain to help deliver on goals.
  • Create Sales Forecasting (Capital equipment (CE) and Packaging Material (PM) planning).
  • Increase Value Selling.
  • Manage Key Accounts.
  • Ensure sustained business level results (e.g. revenue size, historical growth, partnership scores etc) with the account and concrete initiatives in place to secure strong business growth potential.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the market company management team – market strategy, 3-year plans, commercial process maturities and capabilities.

We believe you have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering.
  • Ideally an MBA.
  • At least fifteen years of experience, three of which should be in Key Account Management or Business Development.
  • Good command of finance and forecasting.
  • Ability to naturally deal with challenging stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a seamless fashion.
  • Demonstrable skills in Value Selling, Account Management.
  • You should:
    • Be a strong business and team leader
    • Have a strong customer focus
    • Be able to show strategic agility
    • Have an ability to deal with ambiguity
    • Be fluent in speaking and writing English

Pay Equity

 

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 


•    Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $160,900.00 – $229,800.00 
•    Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 18% of ABS
