Technical Service Representative – Carton Packaging

 

We are now seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Technical Service Representative – Carton Packaging to develop and drive the execution of the strategic and operational account plans in the Carton Gable Top (CGT) category aligned with Tetra Pak’s and the customer's business objectives. In this position, you will be a key point of contact for the customer and will build strong customer relationships by identifying carton filling machine interface issues and working together with both internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution of issues in a timely manner. 

 

You can be home based anywhere in the US.

 

You will be travelling up to 75% of your time to our customer sites.

 

Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States. 

What you will do

 

As a Technical Service Representative – Carton Packaging, you will:

 

  • Troubleshoot potential customer issues with the filling equipment and/or cartons, initiate and follow up on Root Cause Analysis.
  • Coordinate cross functional activities: Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner, and subsequently accepted by the customer.
  • Relationship Management: Drive improved understanding of the customer and overall business and identify opportunities to improve customer operations by making recommendations for improvements including but not limited to carton quality and die-check inspections, machine maintenance, and filler adjustments.
  • Train dairy operators and maintenance technicians on carton runability issues, critical carton quality inspections, and how to adjust filling equipment to achieve optimal filling machine performance.
  • Manage customer accounts in our Carton Gable Top (CGT) category in the US and Canada.
  • Liaison with Internal Stakeholders at Tetra Pak converting operations to resolve potential carton quality issues and working with the account manager to resolve supply chain issues as they arise.

We believe you have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory, ideally in an Engineering field
  • At least five years of experience in the dairy industry with specific knowledge of filling operations
  • The ability to deal with challenging stakeholders and to work cross-functionally in a seamless fashion
  • Strong customer focus
  • Great problem solving and communication skills
  • Strategic agility
  • Solid MS office skills (esp. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • An ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Must be self-starting

 

Pay Equity 

 

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 
 

  • Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $70,100 – $100,000.00
  • Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
