Job Summary

 

Service Delivery Engineer (multiple openings)


Position reports to Tetra Pak headquarters at 3300 Airport Rd., Denton, TX 76207, but will work at various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.90% Domestic travel to customer facilities and 5% international travel to other Tetra Pak facilities.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

 

What you will do


As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will:


Apply special knowledge of Tetra Pak's food packaging and processing machines to execute, technologies, procedures, and regulations to execute L1 and L2 Capital Equipment installations at customer sites according to our Installation to Performance process. Execute, plan, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities, ensuring agreed performance of Tetra Pak lines. Execute the installation of relevant rebuilding kits/upgrades according to procedures and reinstate Tetra Pak lines into production. Execute systematic root cause analysis and troubleshoot problems to permanently resolve mechanical and automation issues. Report and manage all discovered technical issues according to the Quality and Technical Issues Management process and, when needed, escalate to the appropriate level in a timely manner and provide a proper problem description to ensure rapid resolution. Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak services. Actively analyze customer needs for business opportunities and share them with the responsible technical sales representative (e.g., Technical Key Account Manager). Conduct relevant customer training on Tetra Pak machines. Continuously build relationships with customer staff and relevant colleagues in the Market Company. Execute, complete, and distribute all relevant reports according to existing procedures, and ensure that proper handover is done in an accurate and timely way. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and customer safety regulations and requirements to ensure product quality, food safety, and quality assurance, as well as promote a safe working culture in the team.
 

We believe you have

 

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.


Must have work experience with:

 

  • Allen Bradley PLC for automation troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting electrical circuits and components based in AC/DC voltage system including servo motors, photocells, sensors, and motors.
  • Mechanical experience with corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • 2 years experience in machinery installation and commissioning from food industry.
  • 3 years leading preventive maintenance in food industry.

Pay Equity

 

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 


This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 


Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): 108,722 USD to 110,722 USD
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
