Job Summary
Senior Sales Support Specialist
Position is located at 3300 Airport Rd., Denton, TX 76207.
25% International and domestic travel required.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will:
Lead the development and deployment of Tetra Pak’s Plant Components or maintenance work portfolio category and drive the successful implementation of the local and global product portfolio across the US & Canada markets, including financial targets and profitability. Act as subject matter expert for the category, with responsibilities that include quoting category advanced products that require deep technical, commercial, and legal knowledge. Ensure quality and responsiveness in supporting internal and external customers. Lead and implement the Plant Components strategy and secure financial targets. Lead the deployment of Tetra Pak products, develop a Market Readiness Plan, and ensure that promotional and sales materials and pricing strategy are available with clear value proposition. Responsible for providing technical and financial expertise by quoting proprietary advanced category products and ensuring that legal and commercial policies are being followed in the quotations. Secure a clear alignment with the involved stakeholders, like delivery organizations and suppliers, to flawlessly implement the offered solution. Support Tetra Pak’s sales organization in customer presentations or in negotiations as backup to sustain technical or value proposition discussions. Develop alliance strategies with key suppliers. Strengthen the growth of the Indirect Channel Network. Provide basic training for internal users and customers.
We believe you have
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in Sales Management & Business Development in the Food & Beverage Industry.
Must also have work experience in:
1. 4 years within Food Processing Industry.
2. Processing Equipment functionality, specifically, plant components used as basic elemental building blocks towards more specialized processing equipment including UHTs, pasteurizers, aseptic storage, mixing/blending, cleaning in place, and ice cream storage.
3. Calculating and conducting dimensional analysis of Fluid Handling products such as Pumps, Valves, Tank Equipment and Measuring Instruments.
4. Quoting advanced Food Processing Solutions that require technical, commercial, and legal knowledge.
5. Managing product development and sales strategy.
6. Negotiating with customers and suppliers.
7. Financial skills including commercial awareness and payback calculations for products.
