Processing Account Manager


The service we provide to our customers is pivotal to their operational success. You are the key.

We are now seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Processing Account Manager to manage and develop the customer relationship for Tetra Pak’s Processing Solutions & Equipment business in the USA & Canada. In this position, you will be the key point of contact for the customer, not only looking to ensure that their operational issues are resolved in a timely manner but identifying their needs and delivering solutions to drive mutual growth.  

You will work with our customers in the Dairy, Food & Beverage Industry and look for opportunities to sell our Solutions and grow our Market, while also promoting the Tetra Pak One Company approach with these accounts.  We are looking for someone that can speak the technical language and drive to deliver a world class service experience.

The position is based in the Chicago, IL area or the DFW, TX area. We are also open to a remote solution for the right candidate.
You may be required to travel 30-50% of your time.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States. 

What you will do


As a Processing Account Manager you will:


  • Drive mutual sustainable growth for both New Sales and existing customers by driving a cross-functional team to build strong customer relationships while identifying and capturing short, medium and long-term business opportunities
  • Reach out to, define needs, and qualify opportunities with existing and new accounts. You will establish strategies and lead the implementation of the action plans towards strategic Tetra Pak accounts
  • Participate in industry meetings and maintaining a network of connections through social networking, industry events, etc.
  • Support and guide the project engineering group and coordinate cross functional activities
  • Prepare, deliver and follow up on quotations to customer expectations
  • Drive improved understanding of customers’ overall business 
  • Develop and drive the execution of sales plans aligned to Tetra Pak’s and the customers’ business objectives
  • Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner, and the resolution is accepted by the customer
  • Record and follow up on opportunities in a timely fashion
  • Help guide team members in regards to liquid food and dairy processing to secure that they match customer needs
  • Drive up-to-date knowledge of Tetra Pak's New Sales and Services portfolio within customers and ensure that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio is deployed in full, meeting competitive requirements and delivering a strong value proposition.

Who you are


We believe you have:


  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in an Engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Food Processing Industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of Food Processing engineering, Business or  Sales Management
  • The ability and desire to stay at the forefront of the industry with an understanding of the market trends
  • A fluent and clear communicator in English 
  • Experience of working with customers is required
  • Inquisitive and a critical thinking skills
  • High customer orientation
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
