Intern- Denton office positions

 

The Tetra Pak Internship Program is your pass to the professional world, offering you hands-on experience and valuable networking opportunities. You will experience real situations in the corporate world and develop on a personal and professional level. Upon joining our team, you will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare you to put your full potential into action.

 

We are offering three (3) different internships based in Denton, TX.
 
Salary Range: $21-$24 / hour

 

The duration of the Internship Program depends on the position, as specified below.

What you will do

 

Occupational Health & Safety Intern – Human Resources Team
Duration: May 19, 2025 - November 14, 2025
(Full-time from May 19 - August 15, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)

 

We are a seeking an Occupational, Health & Safety (OHS) Intern, who will be responsible for supporting local OHS systems in the Market Company to ensure compliance with OHS Policies and local legal requirements. 
In this role, you will be an individual contributor who will create an increased safety culture within Tetra Pak. You will help support the team with:

 

  • Provide assistance to the OHS team in maintaining systems
  • Support records of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions via MyOHS. Collaborate along with teams supporting the investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
  • Participate in safety inspections and audits.
  • Maintain and update safety records. 
  • Help organize health and safety training for employees.

 

Suggested majors: Occupational health and safety or related field

Finance Intern – Market Operations Team
Duration: May 19, 2025 – August 15, 2025 (full-time, 40 hours/week)

 

As a Finance Intern you will be responsible for providing support to the Business Control team on Continuous Improvement Projects, Audit Requirements, Forecast, Capital Equipment projects analysis. Candidate should have good analytical and communications skills.

 

Your main activities will be:

 

  • Budgeting and Forecasting - Assist in preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Data Analysis - Extract and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas of concern
  • Stakeholder Communication - Liaise with various departments to gather necessary information
  • Financial Modeling - Develop and refine financial models to simulate different business scenarios
  • Risk Assessment and Audit Support 
  • Process Improvement - Identify areas of inefficiency
  • Competence Development - Attend training sessions and workshops

 

Suggested majors: Bachelor studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science or related

 

Tax Intern – Finance & Supplier Management Team
Duration: May 19, 2025 – May 15, 2026 
(Full-time from May 19 - August 15, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)

 

In this role, you will work with seniors and managers to assist in preparing tax workpapers and returns including Corporate Federal (US & Canada), State, Provincial and local Income, Excise, Sales and Use and VAT.

 

Your main activities will be:

 

  • Assist in Sales and Use tax research and exemption certificate management.
  • Assist in preparing Quarterly Income Tax provision. Some special projects which may include audit support and tax determination configuration support
  • Assist with income tax workpapers & calculations. 

 

Suggested majors: Bachelor studies in finance and accounting
