We are offering six (6) different internships based in Denton, TX.

 

Salary Range: $21-$24 / hour
 
The duration of the Internship Program depends on the position, as specified below.

What you will do

 

Sustainability Intern
Duration: May 19 - August 15 (full-time 40 hours/week)

 

As a Sustainability Intern, you will be part of the Sustainability team that works on various projects to improve the carton recycling and access rate through the Carton Council group, as well as work with Tetra Pak customers to address sustainability questions. Your main activities will be: attending customer and third-party meetings; helping the policy team with customer presentation creation; working on data analysis/reporting; assisting with LCA information analysis and presentation creation, etc.

 

Suggested majors: Environmental Science, Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Policy, etc.

Communications Intern
Duration: May 19 - August 15 (full-time 40 hours/week)

 

Our communications team is responsible for increasing brand preference and awareness to internal and external audiences through clear, timely and interesting communication tactics. 

In this role, you will work with, and learn from, all members of our team. Tasks will include, but are not limited, to: 

 

  • Event support - planning, sourcing, staffing, etc. 
  • Internal communications - writing articles, editing copy, email
  • External Communications - writing social media copy, researching trade publications, campaign planning, etc.

 

Suggested majors: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising.

Marketing Intern

In this role, you will be part of our US/CAN marketing team and support your colleagues by:

 

  • Contributing to customer’s marketing campaign/ activities that further the company’s strategic goals
  • Monitoring consumer trends, feedback, and satisfaction levels
  • Applying marketing concepts to solve organizational challenges 
  • Contributing fresh ideas that can enhance marketing strategy
  • Support the team to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives
  • Completing projects related to customer/company needs- branding, content creation, consumer research, data insights, provide input in the planning of marketing strategies, etc.

In this role, you will support the team to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives in the Channels vertical by:

 

  • Completing projects related to customer/company needs- branding, content creation, consumer research, data insights, provide input in the planning of marketing strategies, etc
  • Preparing and presenting market opportunities & trends to customers 
  • Assisting management and team with the preparation of projects and reports
  • Handling inbound requests from vendors, customers, and key stakeholders

Innovation Center Intern

As our Innovation Center Intern, you will be responsible for supporting innovation processes for food and beverage customers to achieve sustainable growth by incubating and materializing their ideas from start to finish. Your main activities:

 

  • Cooperate with agencies, vendors and other external partners
  • Support preparation of meetings and workshops with food and beverage brands
  • Build tailored experiences for visitors of the Innovation Center 
  • Perform organizational tasks such as time planning and coordination processes
  • Administrative tasks such as purchase orders to suppliers

  • Data analysis on channels in different regions
  • Ad hoc studies for different brands on current expression and ways to improve in channels
  • Following up on projects and studies to support the regions in their own action development
