Market Operations Business Controller
As a Market Operations Business Controller at Tetra Pak, you will use your finance and analytical skills to support sales & project center business partners within our Processing Solutions & Equipment (PSE) business. You will follow-up on execution of projects, reporting of financial results and perform related analyses. You will work for the USA/Canada market.
This position is based in our Denton, TX location.
You will be travelling up to 10% of your time.
What you will do
As a PSE Business Controller within the Market Operations business controller team, you will:
- Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, and revenues and make recommendations to senior management
- Perform variance analysis (Sales, cost, margin) at a detailed level (e.g., Project, Product, Customer, etc.) and drive or recommend corrective actions where needed
- Perform Business case follow up (actual vs. initial assumptions, benefit realization) on investments and other business cases
- Support the quarterly and annual financial planning and forecasting process for US/Canada market PSE business by using economic indicators (e.g., exchange rates, inflation etc.)
- Support the development of new tools/procedures and ensure implementation for own area
- Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects
- Ensure policies and guidelines related to own scope are followed, and report noncompliant issues to Finance Director
We believe you have
- 5 years of Business Control experience, process knowledge, product knowledge
- University degree (BS or equivalent) in Accounting/Finance
- Expertise in Stakeholder management
- Excellent presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of SAP R3 project controlling (Required)
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Advanced English proficiency
