Job Summary


The position is located at 3300 Airport Rd, Denton, TX 76207.
Telecommuting permitted two days per week.
10% international and domestic travel.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do


As a Market Operations Business Controller, you will:
 

Apply knowledge of Tetra Pak’s price and cost for food packaging and processing products to interpret, engineer, and maintain Tetra Pak’s systems, technologies, procedures, and regulations to review, engineer, and maintain process technologies for our customers in the U.S. Provide support to senior management with business control tasks. Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, and revenues and make recommendations to senior management. Perform variance analysis for sales, cost, margin at a detailed level (e.g., product, customer) and drive or recommend corrective actions. Perform business case follow up (actual vs. initial assumptions, benefit realization) on investments and other business cases. Support the annual financial planning and forecasting process for the respective function by using economic indicators such as exchange rates and inflation. Support the development of new tools/procedures and ensure implementation for own area. Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects. Coach, advise or train business control staff and stakeholders, if needed. Ensure policies and guidelines related to own scope are followed and report non-compliant issues to Vice President Finance. 

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in business controlling, financial planning, or related.
  • Must have work experience in:
    • Risk Management;
    • Business Development and market opportunity sizing mapping for carton packaging materials, package closures, and straws;
    • Designing Business Simulation Models and Sensitive Analysis; 
    • Application of corporate governance policies and procedures to customer transactions and invoicing structures; 
    • P&L and Balance Sheet Forecasting and Problem Solving; 
    • Business process re-engineering; 
    • SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Dashboard; and 
    • IFRS and Internal Controls.
