Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. This hands-on role includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. A proactive, safety-focused mindset and excellent troubleshooting skills are essential.
This position is based in Denton, TX.
What you will do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial machinery, including rotary machines, conveyor systems, motors, pumps, and hydraulic equipment.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce unplanned outages.
- Use diagnostic tools, manuals, blueprints, and technical resources to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance procedures that enhance equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory, using a CMMS.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with team members, vendors, and contractors for specialized repairs or technical support.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or process improvements.
- Support and train operators on basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Shift Schedule: 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Work Pattern: Rotating weekly schedule, working every other weekend.
- Week 1: 36 hours
- Week 2: 48 hours
We believe you have
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of industrial safety regulations and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
