Finance Analyst

 

In this position you will support the Finance Director, Business Controllers, and Credit & Collections Manager with questions and issues related to various customer pricing, customer financing matters or customer marketing efforts. This role requires a strong accounting mindset and customer focus as well as attention to detail in order to support our controlling & business efforts to profitable growth for both Tetra Pak and our customers. 

The position is hybrid based in Denton, TX. 
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.

What you will do

 

As our Finance Analyst, you will: 

 

  • Prepare the monthly book closing including Journal entries
  • Oversee and prepare Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly ad-hoc reports supporting schedules
  • Prepare and follow up on Cost Center reports
  • Participate in Process Improvement Projects
  • Support Receivable Finance Program
  • Review our accounting process and perform internal controls reviews
  • Liaise with Customers and financing partners
  • Liaise with Internal and External Auditors
  • Collaborate with Shared Service Center counterparts
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting manual and internal controls policies

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling positions
  • Strong Excel skills with ability to learn or create automation through VBA, SAP GUI Scripts, Microsoft Power Automate or similar
  • High self-motivation, detail-orientation with strong organizational and time managements skills
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, SAP and MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written ability to communicate at all levels and to be able to team work across multiple sites & countries
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in projects and prioritize and execute concurrent assignments
  • Strong personal drive, an ability to make things happen and see things through to completion
  • Ability to identify, flag and explain root causes of problems and make recommendations
  • Fluent English skills
