Job Summary
We are seeking Maintenance Technician Creasing Tool to maintain and perform repairs on Creasing Tool Production Equipment. On this position, you will perform troubleshooting, corrective, preventive maintenance on equipment, respond to calls to support production, and perform analysis for continuous improvement.
The position is based in Denton, Texas, US. and report to the Planned Maintenance Leader

What you will do
As Maintenance Technician Creasing Tool, you will:
- Adhere to all Tetra Pak safety polices, including 9 Life Savings Rules, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Permit to Work
- Improve Creasing tool reliability and creasing/cutting quality with timely execution of PM’s and upgrades
- Create, Prepare, and execute Preventative, Corrective and Calibration work orders
- Create and maintain documentation for maintenance tasks specific c this equipment (work instructions)
- Respond to breakdown calls throughout the factory and repair equipment accordingly
- Perform troubleshooting independently on equipment and determine failure reasons and anomalies thru-structured problem-solving methodology
- Contribute to the evolution of Maintenance plans to prevent repeat failures
- Contribute with the Planned Maintenance methodology within the Plant area
- Assists other maintenance personnel in rebuilding and/or redesigning production equipment
- Works on continuous improvement activities and teams
- Set up and operate a lathe, drill press, grinder, mill, and other fabrication tools and equipment as needed
- Backup for Printing Department Technician
- Attend daily meetings for the Cell team and AM meetings when required
- Establish a network, design reports and attend meetings with the Quality Department
We believe you have
- Highschool diploma/GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the maintenance field, ideally in an industrial/production setting; food packaging or converting industry is preferred.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical components
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in the use of maintenance tools and equipment such as lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and using troubleshooting methodologies
- SAP knowledge as user is required
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is required (data base management)
- Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes
- Ability to run root cause analysis and promote improvement suggestions.
- Experience in automation and project management will be considered a plus
