Job Summary
Automation Specialist
The position is located at 3300 Airport Rd, Denton, TX 76207.
75% domestic travel required to customer sites throughout the U.S.
Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per work week.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As an Automation Specialist, you will:
Carry out automation remote support, service, and startups for Tetra Pak processing equipment. Prepare and implement upgrades on automation systems. Work with and fault find on programmable control systems, network, database, IO Servers and Scada systems Support VMWare environments. Work with Service Engineers. Support our Sales teams and work on issue resolution. Carry out customer visits, assisting the local Account Managers and Service Manager. Analyze system design and create original or modify existing HMI, database, and PLC Programs to meet project requirements. Support projects with integration between automation core (factory floor) and digitalization systems (data on cloud, dashboards, and smart devices).
We believe you have
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience in automation, process control, or related or a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field, and 2 years experience in automation, process control, or related.
Must have work experience with:
1. Programable logic controllers (PLC) and SCADA Systems (HMI).
2. Batch Control Process.
3. Databases, recipe handling, and site reports for Food and Beverage industry.
4. I4.0 solutions, outcome-based solutions, and customized dashboards.
5. Plant upgrades using hardware including Rockwell.
