Job Summary


We are looking for someone responsible for coordinating Upgrades Projects across Mexico, create customized solutions and provide technical expertise during the sales and implementation processes by having a deep understanding of the service portfolio, expertise in commercial offers and preparation of quotations. Also, someone who will be responsible for managing projects with big and complex scope preferably with food and beverage experience.
You can be based in any of our offices in Polanco, Queretaro or Cuautitlan.
You might be travelling up to 50% domestic of your time.

What you will do


As an Upgrades Project Manager you will: 
 

  • Lead Upgrades Project for processing and packaging with advanced and complex solution by being directly involved in the execution phases and implementation of the projects.
  • Be responsible for providing technical/engineering quoting Upgrades Solutions that require deep knowledge and for securing the legal and commercial policies.
  • Responsible for the correct governance for the Open Projects  
  • Support Services Sales Team along the process by providing technical analysis, value proposition, pricing and margin calculations and customer presentations, according to a pre-defined scope of offering aligned to customers' needs. 
  • Be responsible for the recommendations for process improvements, resource management and activities to achieve targets.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor's Degree – Industrial engineering, Mechanical engineering, Robotic engineering, Mechatronics engineering or similar 
  • 5 years minimum of experience in Project manager, Process engineer or Service Engineer in the Food & Beverage Industry 
  • Basic understanding of programming platforms and basic control platform knowledge such as Rockwell and Siemens a plus
  • Knowledge of process equipment, such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, aseptic tanks, UHT, valves, centrifugal and positive pumps, etc. for the process of juices, dairy products, soft drinks, ice cream or powders (more in Alfa Laval equipment or similar) a plus.
  • Knowledge of PMI methodology (Desirable)
  • PMP (Desirable) 
  • Strong English skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Knowledge Microsoft Project (Desirable)
  • Knowledge AutoCAD (Desirable)
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
  • Availability to travel up to 50%
