Job Summary
The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team enables a truly end-to-end planning approach by connecting Demand, Supply, Engineering, and Fulfillment across Processing Solutions & Equipment (PSE). In our business, where complex capital equipment is delivered through a predominantly Make-to-Order (MTO) environment, effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is critical to balancing customer commitments, production capacity, supplier capabilities, and business priorities.
We are looking for an experienced planning professional with a strong S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) background who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and understands the challenges of planning customized products with long lead times and constrained capacities.
This position plays a key role in strengthening our global S&OP operating model, driving scenario-based decision-making, improving planning visibility, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders in the United States, Mexico, production centers, and supplier networks.
You will join a highly collaborative global team where influence, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate competing priorities are essential for success.
The position can be based in Cuautitlán Izcalli or Polanco.
You will be travelling up to 10% of your time to our customer and supplier sites.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Senior Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Specialist - Capital Equipment, you will:

- Lead alignment across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers to ensure feasible plans that support customer commitments, production capabilities, and business priorities.
- Develop and execute mid- and long-term supply network plans, optimizing production footprint, sourcing strategies, and capacity utilization across manufacturing sites.
- Facilitate and influence cross-functional planning forums across tactical and strategic horizons, driving consensus and accountability among stakeholders in the US, Mexico, and global operations.
- Lead scenario analysis and trade-off discussions related to capacity constraints, lead times, order prioritization, and supply risks.
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints across the end-to-end supply chain and drive resolution through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, WCM -World Class Manufacturing).
- Optimize capacity allocation, asset utilization, and resource planning to support business growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Strengthen S&OP governance, planning metrics, and performance management, improving service levels, planning accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Act as a key connector across functions and regions, ensuring end-to-end visibility, decision transparency, and alignment within a global matrix organization.
- Support the continuous evolution of S&OP processes, planning tools, and operating models to enhance organizational maturity and decision quality.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in S&OP, Supply Chain Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of S&OP processes, demand/supply balancing, capacity planning, and network planning.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and business trade-off analysis.
- Strong proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct reporting authority.
- Hands-on experience participating in or leading formal S&OP cycles, including demand and supply balancing, scenario planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
- Nice to have:
