Job Summary

 

This position will be responsible of designing and implementing industrial production lines for the food industry, manage all aspects of project management, system quotations and being accountable for the project's sucess. In addition, you will have the opportunity in a short term to be trained and certified as a PMP (Project Management Professional).
The position is based in Cuautitlán, Estado de México, México.
You will be travelling 20% of your time to our customer sites, regionally or globally for trainings also.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

 

As a Project Manager you will: 

 

  • Ensure the project's quality control, risk management, resource assignment, and a financial control in order to accomplish customer's satisfaction and increase the company's profitability.
  • Responsible for elaborating quotations for Processing & Packaging Solutions in conjunction with the Account Managers and Project Engineering Teams. 
  • Conduct and manage project implementations of sold equipment. 
  • Conduct risk management in technical, financial, procurement, legal and commercial topics.
  • Provide issue management as needed in the project.
  • Resource management providing feedback to Sr Management on their performance.
  • Participate in the project review board meetings.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Food Science, or related Engineering. 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, be able to maintain business conversations is mandatory. 
  • 5 years of experience leading and management projects using PMI (Project Management Institute) methodology in the different phases: planning and budget control, time administration, risk administration, acquisitions and contingency plans.
  • Proven strong knowledge in technical lines implementations, comissioning, upgrades of industrial equipment.
  • Nice to have experience with TP filling equipment and/or processing equipment. 
  • Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, MS Project and Autocad. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work abroad and adapt to different cultures, processes and change. 
  • Able to work under time constraints and meet deadlines. 
  • Availability to travel and attend different projects as needed in Mexico.
