Job Summary

 

As our Operational Planner you will execute logistic activities regarding Shipping and/or Warehouse to drive cost reduction, improve service levels, safety and effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities, be technical reference for other areas or new employees
You will be based at Cuautitlan Factory, reporting to the Distribution Center Manager
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

 

As an Operational Planner you will: 

  • Support to ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / customs / transportation company.
  • Schedule order delivery
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to create periodical reports (Excel and SAP)
  • Brings suggestion and drive projects to continuous improvement for the areas
  • Daily problem-solving to support warehouse operations efficiently and effectively
  • Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels and managing overtime.
  • Support to other teams remotely. Interaction with colleagues in a truly multi-cultural and multi-dimensional Services Supply Network
  • Internal Inventory Management
  • Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations established by the authorities, as well as compliance with Tetra Pak procedures

We believe you have

 

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the role or similar 
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related
  • Knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations
  • Experience with Excel (Advance Level: create and execute macros) and Visual Basic
  • Desire experience in Power Automate, Python, Power BI and/or other business analytics tools
  • Knowledge of all applicable health and safety and employment standards.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (Lean or Six Sigma tools)
  • Skills: Analytical mindset, organized, details oriented, team player.
