Internship Program 2026
The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to qualify potential student talents through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talents to face their upcoming professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new trainees to put their full potential into action.
The position is based in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Project Controller Intern, you will:
- Interact with internal and external contractors and suppliers.
- Schedule the ordering and receiving of materials.
- Plan and monitor material flows.
- Update relevant records related to project management.
- Support in placing Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor closing dates for tasks and deliveries.
- Administer dashboards and performance indicators (KPIs).
Bachelor Studies in progress: Business Administration, International Business, Mechatronics, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineer.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Excel), Power BI, SAP. English intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
As a Production Planning Intern, you will:
- Support the creation of purchase requisitions.
- Plan hours and materials using SAP.
- Create building sequences and routings in SAP.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate planning and scheduling.
Bachelor Studies in: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering or any other related.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: SAP ECC, SAP Business Client and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel). English intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
As a Purchase Intern, you will:
- Create and follow up on purchase orders.
- Support payment resolution processes.
- Communicate directly with vendors to ensure timely and accurate order handling.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with project needs.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Management.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP is a plus. English intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
We believe you have
- Studies in one of the specialties recommended for the position selected.
- Graduation expected in: July 2026 or afterwards.
- Availability for internship: January 19 to December 7, 2026.
- Availability to work and commute to our site 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, during the full internship program.
