Internship Program 2026
The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to qualify potential student talents through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talents to face their upcoming professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new trainees to put their full potential into action.
The position is based in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As an Automation Intern, you will:
- Participate in the management of the automation laboratory.
- Oversee the procurement and receipt of materials.
- Manage electrical, pneumatic, control, and communication components with precision.
- Monitor inventory for automation projects.
- Support the team in daily operations and project-related activities.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Control & Automation Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office, PLC Software for Allen Bradley or Siemens. English intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
Availability for internship: January 19 to July 13, 2026.
As a Project Management Intern, you will:
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose innovative improvements.
- Develop tools and methods to support:
- Resource planning
- Preparation of information for project closing meetings
- Monitoring delivery dates for spare parts and equipment
- Ensuring data consistency across platforms (Planview, Projectplace, SAP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain clear documentation.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Food engineering, Administration
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Excel (macros), Power BI, SAP. English intermediate (can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills).
Availability for internship: January 19 to July 13, 2026.
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will:
- Gather and organize technical and operational data to support engineering activities.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and resolution of documentation issues.
- Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and office coordination.
- Support engineers and project managers with documentation and reporting needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure consistency across internal systems.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Food or Chemical Engineering.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD. English intermediate (can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills).
Availability for internship: January 19 to December 7, 2026.
We believe you have
- Studies in one of the specialties recommended for the position selected.
- Graduation is expected in July 2026 or afterwards.
- Availability to work and commute to our site 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm, during the full internship program.
