Job Summary
Mission: Take charge of the technical management of electrical, automation, and digitalization aspects within our powder handling equipment portfolio. You will develop, maintain, and improve our products throughout their lifecycle. A key objective will be to lead the development of our autonomous systems offerings by creating standardized, modular electrical and automation solutions that are easy to integrate. You will also be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge digital technologies to provide an exceptional user experience and intelligent systems that enhance our service offerings.
Team: No direct subordinates, but you may lead a project team of 3 to 5 people.
Location: Based in Cholet (49) or in Chakan (India, without relocation to France)
What you will do
In collaboration with the Innovation Projects Manager:
- Lead innovation initiatives related to electrical, automation, and digitalization topics, including development activities, benchmarking, and technology watch.
- Promote and implement an "Industry 4.0" approach in our portfolio, integrating data measurement points, database management, AI for data analysis, and process optimization.
- Serve as the technical product manager for the portfolio's equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and performance.
- Standardize electrical and automation practices within the portfolio.
We believe you have
- Education: Master's degree in digital engineering or automation engineering.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of professional experience in digital/automation engineering.
- Knowledge:
- Strong interest in digital technologies and Industry 4.0, including databases, data collection technologies, AI, and digital twins.
- Siemens and/or Rockwell programming.
- Electrical and pneumatic engineering is a plus.
- Functional safety, including safety loop calculations (Sistema or Pascal) is a plus.
- Knowledge of the dairy/food industry, production, and products is a plus.
- Skills:
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to achieve the expected technical result.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to make decisions.
