Job Summary

 

Tetra Pak Packaging Closures France manufactures caps for carton packs. Our production consists of producing components with injection moulding machine and assembled them to create final products that can be mounted on carton packs. We are about 160 employees, and our site has many certifications like ISO (9001, 14001 & 45001) and food safety (BRC, FDA). We prioritize safety first and constantly work on continuous improvements throughout the business in accordance with WCM – World Class Manufacturing

Within the Tetra Pak Closures factory in France Chateaubriant, we are looking for a Safety Health & Environment (SHE) Coordinator to develop, implement and coordinate our Safety, Health and Environmental activities.
The position is permanent and based in Chateaubriant, Loire Atlantique.

What you will do

 

As our new SHE Coordinator you will report to SHE Manager. As SHE coordinator you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing appropriate systems, policies and procedures for safety, health & environment regulatory and corporate compliance. You will also in the areas of safety, health & environment work with our continuous improvement program World Class Manufacturing (WCM).


Main responsibilities:

  • To participate in the management of Health, Safety and Environmental risks
  • To ensure recording and reporting of Safety and Environment data
  • To participate in Safety and Environmental incidents investigation and correctives actions plans
  • To participate in the local WCM Safety, Health & Environment pillar and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification process
  • To improve energetical efficiency and waste management system.
  • To provide training and guidance on Safety and environmental matters.

We believe you have

 

 

We believe that you are a person who works in a proactive way and are self-driven for results. You are a strong communicator and can drive and implement change with a curiosity of mind.

  • You have a university degree (license / master) or equivalent preferentially in SHE domain.
  • Experience of WCM and Continuous Improvement work is beneficial. You probably have at least 1 or 2 years of previous experience from working with Safety, Health & Environment in a manufacturing environment.
  • A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
