Job Summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a highly skilled and professional team of project managers that strongly contributes to the overall successful management of multidiscipline teams and assure each project phase is completed on time, within budget and to the customers’ satisfaction.  

This position is based in Champlin, MN.

 

This role may require travel of up to approximately 25% of your time.

What you will do

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Support the Sales team in developing quotations for processing lines in collaboration with Account Managers and Project Engineering teams
  • Lead and manage the implementation of sold equipment projects
  • Develop and maintain overall project timelines
  • Assemble and guide project teams through successful execution
  • Plan, monitor, and forecast project budgets using SAP
  • Partner with customers to define roles and responsibilities and ensure timely implementation
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards during onsite activities
  • Conduct risk management across technical, financial, procurement, legal, OHS, and commercial areas
  • Address and resolve project issues as they arise
  • Report progress and escalate matters to the management team when necessary
  • Manage variation orders and control project scope, cost, schedule, risks, quality, and procurement
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Oversee resource allocation and provide performance feedback to team members

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Food Science, or a related engineering discipline
  • 5–10 years of experience as a project team member utilizing PMI methodology
  • Proven experience across multiple project phases, including planning, budget control, schedule management, risk management, supplier coordination, and contingency planning (highly advantageous)
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to build and lead teams while being an effective team player
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $124,800.00– $160, 000.00.

Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 18% of ABS.
