Job Summary
Tetra Pak Business Unit Filtration Solutions develop and manufacture Filtrations solutions for customers within the dairy, beverage and food industry all over the world. BUFS is looking for an Electrical Designer with strong end customer focus. You should have experience in Electrical Engineering related work with a natural drive for improvements.
The position is based in Brooklyn Park, MN
You may be required to travel 10% of your time regionally / globally

What you will do
As an Electrical Designer you will:
- Work to design control cabinets in line with Tetra Pak Strategy, standards, guidelines, tools and methods.
- Work with sub-suppliers to make drawings and specifications in time, with correct quality and at specified cost.
- Participate in Filtration projects as Electrical technical expert.
- Demonstrate excellent technical skills, good knowledge in installation needs and customer operations at site.
- Design and prepare orders for production at our sub suppliers.
- Deliver solid and efficient technical solutions using standardized components and solutions.
- Design and verify electrical drawings.
- Participate in I/O checkout of Membrane Filtration Systems.
- Procure and specify all components required for wiring of Filtration Systems.
- Specify instrumentation required for projects.
- Ability to manage multiple membrane system projects as required.
- Attend both on site and off site training sessions and/or meetings as required or requested.
- Provide both written and verbal status reports on projects as required/requested.
- Maintain a professional attitude and working relationship with colleagues and customers.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of working experience with Hardware Design.
- Strong knowledge of the UL/CSA standards is required.
- You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient using MS Office software.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good analytical skills required.
Pay Equity
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $72,500.00 – $103,400.00 USD.
- Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
