We are looking for a Business Development Manager in Processing who will help us to develop and drive profitable growth plans beyond current trajectory for Filtration Solutions globally. The role includes leading the development of key initiatives in line with the Business Stream 3-year plan, Market Operations (MO) “go-to market” strategy, ensuring seamless cooperation across the organization, and driving the execution of these plans. Your objective will be to identify the growth avenues and maximize Tetra Pak's “ability to win”: Developing capabilities in Market Operations and Project Centers in specific regions, supporting the creation and deployment of action plans, shaping, and driving the Filtration portfolio and best practices to maximize the value proposition, and being part of portfolio innovation lifecycle.

You can expect to travel up to 50% of your time.
 

This position reports to the Director of Business Stream Filtration Solutions in Key Components, Plant Solutions and Channel Management (PSE) and is preferably based in Champlin (Minnesota), United States.
 

What you will do


As a Business Development Manager, in close collaboration with Market Operations, you will be focusing on increasing Tetra Pak market share in Filtration Solutions; you will contribute to prospecting, generating, and qualifying leads in the focus subcategories, nurturing a pipeline of opportunities and expanding the number of new customers globally.
 

Working closely with the commercial team in the Business Stream, you will support Market Operations on sales strategy and value proposition in key commercial cases and participate throughout the global category strategy lifecycle.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, evaluating, and driving new areas of future growth. 
  • Maximizing the reach-out of our key messages to customers through marketing and communication
  • Growing Filtrations profitably with a focus on group margin, securing key strategic initiatives.
  • Maximizing the value proposition with leading product and solution performance guarantees (processing and E2E for processing and packaging).
  • Identifying focus areas and driving competitiveness in solution delivery. Providing sales support to the markets and project centers, connecting experts to customers.
  • Ensuring E2E competitiveness in the respective subcategories.
  • Ensuring customer experience (CX) improvements in the respective subcategories.
  • Participating in Opportunity Management and Sales forums in key Markets, especially in Americas and Europe.
  • Support on bridging Business Stream experts in Commercial and Centre of Expertise teams with Engineering organization during opportunity/project lifecycle.

We believe you have

  • 7-10 years of experience in customer equipment sales.
  • Experience in Key Account Management (ideally with cross-border accounts) and/or business development is essential.
  • Experience in the liquid food industry; particularly in Dairy or Powder, is a strong advantage.
  • Technical understanding of the liquid food industry; technical knowledge of Filtration technologies is a plus.
  • Experience in dealing with higher-level executives among customers and managing a broad internal and external stakeholder network.
  • Experience in developing and participating in business strategy planning.
  • Experience in leading a Profit & Loss an advantage.
  • Experience in strategy management. Strong vision to spot business opportunities and industry changes.
    • Should demonstrate strong business acumen, a strategic mindset, and a high level of customer orientation.
    • Should be a highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude, open-minded, capable of developing effective relationships and working across boundaries and levels within the organization.
    • Ability to understand the nuances of different cultures and navigate global business environments with ease.

Pay Equity

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances. 

 

Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $122,483.16– $157,000.00.
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 18% of ABS.
