Job Summary

 

As Market Operations (MO) Business Controller at Tetra Pak, you will use your finance and analytical skills to support business partners within Capital Equipment packaging, Sales and project function that cover every aspect of our projects for Capital Equipment packaging, from daily routines to business insights.
You will follow-up on execution of projects, rentals, sales and inventories, reporting of financial results and performing related analyses. You will work primarily for the Brazilian Market.


The position is based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, reporting to the Finance Director Brazil.

What you will do

 

As Market Operations Business Controller you will:

 

  • Be responsible for the compilation of data, analysis & structuring of information used by the Capital Equipment Packaging Solutions, Sales and projects team and Finance Director;
  • Interpret financial information on costs, prices, and revenues and make recommendations to Management team / Sales and project teams;
  • Ensure participation of finance in project steering groups in order to drive risk management and project profitability;
  • Ensure escalation of any financing request according to FRM;
  • Based on portfolio dimensions, establish & lead continuous product profitability analysis;
  • Identify non-performing equipment and drive corrective actions with responsible;
  • Support Management team on driving equipment profitability;
  • Support Sales Management and project teams in analyzing pricing impacts and following up on commercial practices (financing etc.);
  • Perform detailed variance analysis (Sales, cost, margin) at different levels (e.g., Equipment’s, Customer, Project) and drive or recommend corrective actions where needed;
  • Perform business case follow-up (actual vs. initial assumptions, benefit realization) on investments and other key business initiatives;
  • Support the quarterly forecasting process and annual financial planning, incorporating relevant business and economic indicators when applicable;
  • Support the development and implementation of new tools, processes and procedures within own area
  • Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects to support decision-making;
  • Support internal and external audits;
  • Ensure policies, procedures and guidelines related to own scope are followed and report non-compliant issues to the Finance Director.

We believe you have

 

  • 3 to 7 years of Business Control experience, including financial reporting, process and business understanding;
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related fields. MBA or equivalent is a plus;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • A continuous improvement and innovation mindset, with the ability to leverage digital technologies and challenge the status quo to drive business value;
  • A customer and business-oriented mindset, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and results-driven approach;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations;
  • The ability to navigate complexity, prioritize effectively, and support decision-making in a dynamic business environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, digital tools, and data analytics solutions; experience in project controlling and business case evaluation.
