Internship Program 2027

As part of the Tetra Pak Internship Program, you'll gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects that contribute to our purpose of making food safe and available, everywhere. The position will be based in San Fernando, Argentina.

 

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As an Automation Intern, you will:

 

  • Support automation activities related to equipment and machine functionality.

  • Perform functionality testing of software developed for industrial equipment.

  • Assist in verifying software and hardware connections to ensure correct operation.

  • Prepare and maintain electrical technical documentation.

  • Support programming activities for automation projects.

  • Assist in the selection of components for machine automation systems.

  • Generate and maintain project management documentation.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support project execution.

  • Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of automation solutions for the food processing industry.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Electromechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: English Intermediate (can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills), interest in industrial automation, electrical systems, and machine functionality, basic knowledge of programming and automation concepts, ability to read and understand technical documentation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork skills, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Availability for internship: January 18 to December 13, 2027

  • Graduation expected: December 2027 or afterwards

  • Availability to work and commute to our site 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm, during the full internship program. 

Steps of the process

  • Application review (August 17 – September 11)

  • Video interview (August 24  – October 2)

  • Interview (October 5 – October 16)

  • Admission (October 19 – November 13)

  • Start Date January 18, 2027
