Job Summary

As Team Lead - Sourcing and Contracting, you will be responsible for tactical execution of supplier Management strategy. RFI (Request for information), RFQ (Request for Quotation), negotiation and contract management in the Shared Services Centre operations.

You will manage the local tactical Sourcing and Contracting team and their operations.

 

The position is based in Budaörs, Hungary.

What you will do

  • Manage and develop The Sourcing and Contracting team.
  • Resource planning and competence development.
  • Manage relationships with Primary Process Drivers, Category Managers, Supply Managers, and external vendors, ensuring consistent and quality delivery of services.
  • Continuously review processes in area of responsibility and implements changes as required to ensure efficient and best practice globally aligned processes.
  • Collaborate with Master Data teams and Analysts team in the implementation of global initiatives.
  • Support and/or respond to Supply Manager or Category Manager queries related to sourcing and contracting.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and closure of audit findings as appropriate.

We believe you have

  • ​​Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Engineering Degree / another equivalent degree
  • Ideally 8-10 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including end-to-end sourcing and contracting
  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience in team management
  • People leadership experience is highly valued—especially in strategic sourcing and category management (a plus)
  • Experience in guiding a team from tactical sourcing to a more strategic approach is an advantage
