Job Summary
We are looking for a Planning & Logistics Manager who will be responsible for logistics activities within a factory and drive cost reduction, service levels, effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities. Implement Cluster priorities and initiatives in the factory logistics areas.
You will be based in Budaörs, Hungary.
What you will do
Lead factory logistics and planning team, develop capabilities and manage back-up and succession. Attend daily internal production meetings to align with factory management. Drive the expansion of WCM to attack logistics and planning losses.
Operational logistics:
- Implement and lead world-class warehouse management with internal logistics
- Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer
- Administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of the factory
Operational planning:
- Provide input to cluster on capacity and allocation process
- Create a monthly capacity plan with optimal block plan sequence in pro-planner and C-plan according to monthly factory capacity plan aligned with cluster capacity plan
- Schedule orders according to factory capacity, factory project schedule, constraints, block sequence priority, order ETD request, production lead time etc.
- Maintain planning master data: P2, Pro-planner, APO, SAP
- Operationalize reallocations to and from factory
- Member/Leader of appropriate WCM pillar
We believe you have
- Master degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business Administration is a must
- At least 4 years of operational experience in the areas of expertise is a must
- Fluent in Hungarian and intermediate in English, both written and verbal is a must
- People coordination experience (eg. from being in a senior specialist role) required
- Good knowledge of factory production process and product portfolio
- Excellent knowledge of WCM methods and their application
- Proper general supply chain knowledge, including financial implications of decisions, need it
- Production planning process, material planning process and tools knowledge required
- You can create dynamism, drive productivity, and build capability, the ability to show a strong demonstration of leadership behaviour, to the team
- Problem solver with a strong personal drive
- True team player with good communication skills
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritise own workload
