Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and engaged
OHS Officer
for Budaörs Production
who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a local OHS policies, guidelines and procedures. Who will also champion occupational health and safety covering the whole factory.
What you will do
- Promote and develop positive OHS culture at the production facilities and the warehouse
- Improving safety awareness of employees and subcontractors via audits
- Provide OHS advice and guidance to the employees to ensure compliance with Group OHS policy and local legal requirements.
- Ensure and monitor compliance to Corporate OHS policies & procedures and to local legislation including
- Ensure all OHS incidents are investigated and reported to Corporate OHS and local authorities as required.
- Drive OHS continuous improvement through annual objectives & targets using WCM methodology
- Champion occupational health and safety on the production
- Prohibit any activity from continuing that is considering as an imminent danger or a significant breach of OHS legislation
- Maintain certification to ISO 45001
- Maintain a record of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions.
- Ensure that an OHS training program is in place to cover the significant risks, including compulsory training for new comers and annual re-trainings
- Coordinate the factory related work of external safety consultant.
Occupational health
- Follow up of legal framework, propose changes, take corrective actions
- Advise HR Team and SHE manager / Factory Director about legal risks, issues
- Liaising with occupational health supplier
- Create and implement the occupational health policy
We believe you have
- Relevant, legally required degree level occupational safety education
- Certificate in Fire Safety is an advantage
- Fluency in English and Hungarian is a must
- At least 2-4 years’ experience similar position in mid-size multinational / production environment
- Strong people and project management skills
- Problem solving skills
